Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- PORTLAND, Oregon - A U.S. federal judge on Sunday temporarily blocked the Trump administration from deploying National Guard troops to Portland, dealing a significant blow to the president's efforts to use federal forces in cities governed by Democrats.
The ruling by U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut came just a day after she had restricted the deployment of Oregon's own National Guard to the city.
