Pakistan, June 27 -- Italian Consul General (CG) Fabrizio Bielli, Thursday, expressed his desire to support Pakistan's development efforts across various sectors and continue building bridges between the people of both the countries.
He expressed the views in a meeting with Speaker Sindh Assembly Syed Awais Qadir Shah during the visit to the historic assembly building. Secretary Sindh Assembly G.M. Umar Farooq, Director General Irfan Ahmed Memon and Huma Ikramullah were also present at the occasion, said a statement issued here.
The meeting highlighted the friendly ties between Italy and Pakistan, with discussions focusing on strengthening cooperation in trade, water management, cultural exchange, and institutional collaboration.
