Pakistan, Feb. 9 -- TEL AVIV - Renowned Israeli singer, composer, and producer Matti Caspi has passed away at the age of 76 following a battle with cancer, his family confirmed on Sunday. Caspi, whose career spanned decades, died at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.

The family shared a heartfelt tribute, describing Caspi as "a beloved husband and a dear father" and lamenting the loss of "the light of our lives." They added, "His love and creativity, which he always gave, will remain a part of us forever. You were and will remain the essence of our existence."
