Pakistan, Oct. 2 -- The Israeli navy intercepted a Gaza aid flotilla on Wednesday, preventing the ships from delivering humanitarian supplies. Swedish activist Greta Thunberg was onboard.

Around 45 vessels left Spain last month, carrying activists, politicians, and aid to Gaza. Israel warned the flotilla not to enter its blockade zone.
Spain and Italy sent naval escorts and urged the ships to halt before the 150-nautical-mile exclusion area. Greece also called for restraint and safety.
