Israel has strongly warned that global recognition of a Palestinian state could lead to unilateral actions, stressing that such decisions will harm peace efforts and destabilise the already fragile Middle East region.
Foreign Minister Gideon Saar criticised France and the United Kingdom for pushing recognition, calling it a "tremendous mistake." He added that this recognition would complicate diplomacy, block negotiations, and make any future peace agreement harder to achieve.
