GAZA CITY, July 6 -- At least 32 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Sunday, with 29 deaths reported in Gaza City alone, according to hospital sources. The bombardment came as Israel signaled a willingness to resume indirect ceasefire negotiations with Hamas in Doha under growing global pressure.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved sending negotiators for proximity talks after a five-hour cabinet meeting.
