Pakistan, Dec. 30 -- The United States signed an $8.6 billion contract with Boeing to supply Israel with advanced F-15IA fighter jets. Israel will initially receive 25 jets, with an option for 25 more. The deal aims to strengthen military and strategic ties between the two countries.
The agreement was announced after a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida. The contract covers design, installation of advanced systems, testing, production, and delivery under the Foreign Military Sales program. Pentagon officials said the deal reinforces Israel's qualitative military edge in the region.
