Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- Israel has deported 171 activists from the Gaza aid flotilla. The group included famous environmental activist Greta Thunberg. Israeli navy stopped the flotilla in international waters and detained its members. The deported activists were sent to many European and American countries. However, former Pakistani senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan remains in Israeli custody.

Earlier, Israel deported over 170 other flotilla members. Most of the detained activists belong to countries such as Greece, Italy, France, Sweden, Germany, and the UK. Israel's move drew sharp criticism worldwide. Many called for respect of human rights and peaceful humanitarian efforts. The deportations have heightened tensions in the region.
