Pakistan, Dec. 30 -- Israel has operationalized the world's first 100 kW high-power laser weapon, called Iron Beam. The system can destroy drones, rockets, and mortars. Defense officials say it offers low-cost, precise air defense.

Developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Iron Beam has completed operational tests and is now active with the Israel Defence Forces.
