Pakistan, July 4 -- Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced a major development plan aimed at transforming Islamabad into a more sports-friendly and visually appealing city. Under this initiative, 54 new playgrounds will be constructed across the capital.
According to the approved plan, 25 new cricket grounds and 25 football grounds will be developed in various sectors of Islamabad. Additionally, three specialized grounds will be built to specifically promote the sport of football among youth and aspiring athletes.
To support the growth of cricket, Naqvi has also ordered the allocation of space for an indoor cricket ground. Furthermore, five cricket academies have received approval to offer structured training to young play...
