Pakistan, June 13 -- A special ceremony was organized in Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday to honor the efforts of sanitation workers, following the successful execution of Civic body's "Zero Waste Operation."
In a commendable display of teamwork and public service, the capital city maintained exemplary cleanliness during Eid ul-Azha, earning praise from citizens and government officials alike, said the interior minister Mohsin Naqvi addressing the employees of CDA.
The initiative, led by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, saw the participation of over 2,500 sanitation workers and 250 vehicles who worked tirelessly across both urban and rural parts of Islamabad.
