Pakistan, July 11 -- An Islamabad court on Friday suspended a previous order banning 27 YouTube channels operated by prominent Pakistani journalists and content creators. The suspension was issued by Additional Sessions Judge Afzal Majoka, offering temporary relief to the affected individuals.

The original ban was based on a petition by the newly formed National Cyber Crime Investigation (NCCIA), which claimed that the channels were spreading defamation, anti-state narratives, and misinformation targeting judicial and state institutions. Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Abbas Shah had initially approved the ban after reviewing the NCCIA's findings.
