Pakistan, July 20 -- ISLAMABAD - The federal government has announced plans to install 3,100 new surveillance cameras across Islamabad to further enhance its Safe City project and improve citywide security monitoring.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi made the announcement during his visit to the Safe City Headquarters. He also inaugurated the Online Women Police Station and the "One Info App," praising Islamabad IG Ali Nasir Rizvi for his efforts in modernising city policing.
Naqvi stated that the "One Info App" will allow citizens to quickly report emergencies and seek help, especially women and vulnerable groups. He emphasized that digital platforms must work effectively to ensure timely support and response.
