Pakistan, July 16 -- Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned that Tehran is fully prepared to respond to any new military attacks. He stressed that Iran can deliver an even stronger blow than it did during the recent 12-day war with Israel.

Khamenei, speaking on state television, praised Iran's stance against the United States and Israel, calling them enemies of the nation. He confirmed Iran's missile strike on the US Al Udeid base in Qatar, calling it a hit on a "highly sensitive" American site.

Meanwhile, pressure is mounting on Iran to return to nuclear talks. The US and key European nations have set the end of August as a deadline to finalize a deal, threatening the return of UN sanctions if progress stalls.
