Pakistan, Oct. 18 -- Iran announced on Saturday that it is no longer bound by restrictions under the 2015 nuclear agreement. The 10-year deal officially expired on October 18, marking the end of limitations on Iran's nuclear programme. Despite this, Iran reiterated its commitment to diplomacy and peaceful nuclear use. The country declared that all related provisions and oversight mechanisms are now terminated.
The original deal, signed in Vienna, included the US, UK, France, Germany, China, Russia, and Iran. It aimed to limit Iran's uranium enrichment to 3.67% in exchange for sanctions relief.
