Pakistan, June 24 -- Iran has confirmed that since the outbreak of war with Israel on June 13, at least 610 civilians have been killed and more than 4,700 injured.
According to a post by Health Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermansarpoor on social media platform X, hospitals across the country have been dealing with "horrific and heartbreaking scenes" over the past 12 days.
This updated toll marks a significant rise from earlier figures of over 400 deaths and 3,056 injured, which were reported just days ago.
The continued escalation between Iran and Israel has led to growing casualties, with both sides blaming each other for ceasefire violations and targeting civilian areas.
