The report stated that although the principle of negotiations has been agreed upon, discussions about the time and location are still ongoing. So far, no country has been confirmed to host the meeting.

This potential development follows warnings from Britain, France, and Germany-collectively known as the E3-that they would reimpose international sanctions on Iran if talks fail to resume. These sanctions could be triggered through the "snapback mechanism" by the end of August, a move that would restore UN penalties lifted under the 2015 nuclear deal.
