Pakistan, June 15 -- TEL AVIV/TEHRAN - At least 10 people were killed in Israel overnight as Iranian missiles struck residential areas, marking the most intense exchange of fire between the two longtime rivals in history. Israeli strikes earlier hit key fuel depots and military sites in Iran, sparking fears of a larger regional war.

According to Israeli authorities, six people died and over 180 were injured in Bat Yam, near Tel Aviv, after missiles destroyed parts of a residential complex. Another four women were killed in the northern town of Tamra when a building collapsed following a separate strike. First responders continue to search for survivors under the rubble.
