Pakistan, May 9 -- The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been temporarily halted indefinitely amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan. The decision came after a match in Dharamsala was abruptly halted, with airports near the venue being closed and teams evacuated to Delhi. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) convened an emergency meeting and decided to suspend the tournament. The BCCI has not yet announced a resumption date, citing the ongoing security concerns.
