Pakistan, Nov. 1 -- Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer has been discharged from a Sydney hospital after recovering from injuries sustained in an ODI match. He was injured during the third one-day international against Australia on October 25. The injury affected his abdomen and ribs, requiring immediate medical attention. He was admitted to the hospital and also spent time in the ICU for observation.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that Iyer showed significant improvement. His medical reports indicated that he is now stable. Doctors advised that he continue monitoring his recovery. They also recommended staying in Sydney until he is fully fit to travel.
