Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- Indian state violence continued in occupied Kashmir during July, with seven Kashmiris killed by Indian forces. According to the Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the deaths occurred during violent military operations across the region.

Additionally, 51 civilians were injured as a result of excessive force used by Indian troops. Security forces carried out 144 search and cordon operations, intensifying the crackdown.

In these operations, 49 people were arrested, many of whom were later detained under India's controversial black laws. These individuals were taken to various prisons, often far from their homes.
