Pakistan, July 30 -- India has conducted back-to-back tests of its Pralay missile, raising concerns about escalating tensions in South Asia. The launches took place on July 28 and 29 from Dr APJ Kalam Island, according to India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). These tests were part of user trials meant to validate the missile's range and capabilities.

Security experts have warned that these missile tests could trigger a regional arms race. They believe such actions pave the way for future conflicts instead of peace. Pakistan, in response, highlighted that it possesses the Nasr (Hatf-IX) missile, which can carry nuclear warheads and respond effectively to first strikes.
