Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar has said that India's irresponsible conduct has now extended into the world of sports. Speaking in Islamabad on Tuesday, he criticized India for using "petty tactics" following recent military setbacks. Tarar made the remarks at a conference hosted by the Institute of Regional Studies.

He stated that India, after suffering defeats on the battlefield, is now resorting to unsportsmanlike behavior. "India lost on the front lines. Now it tries to save face in stadiums," he said.
