Pakistan, June 24 -- India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will travel to Qingdao, China, this week for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit. He is expected to meet with defence ministers from China, Russia, and other regional countries. The summit begins Wednesday and focuses on regional security and cooperation.

The defence ministry said Singh will present India's vision for peace and security in the region. He will also call for stronger efforts to fight terrorism and extremism. India aims to use this platform to promote dialogue and stability in the region.
