Pakistan, June 1 -- ISLAMABAD - Former National Security Adviser Lt-Gen (Retd) Nasir Khan Janjua has claimed that India agreed to a ceasefire with Pakistan after it lost the will and courage to carry on with the conflict. Speaking on Dunya TV's show TONIGHT with Samar Abbas, he said India's resolve weakened, which led to its decision to halt hostilities.
He further stressed the need to identify those behind subversive activities in Balochistan. According to him, some elements are working at the behest of India, and reaching out to them is crucial for restoring peace. "We must win over hearts and defeat the forces that are trying to destabilize the region," he said.
