Pakistan, June 16 -- As deadly airstrikes continue in Iran, India has taken urgent steps to move its students to safer areas within the country. Israel launched multiple attacks across Iran on Friday, targeting even critical sites like oil refineries in Tehran. In response, Iran fired missiles at Israeli cities, sparking fears of a full-blown regional war.

The Indian government confirmed on Monday that its embassy in Tehran is in constant contact with Indian citizens. A special focus is on students who are often unfamiliar with local emergency protocols. Some students have already been shifted from high-risk zones with help from Indian diplomats on the ground.
