Pakistan, Oct. 5 -- Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said India's recent provocative statements are nothing more than failed attempts to recover its reputation, which was badly damaged after the May war against Pakistan. He stressed that the Indian civil-military leadership seeks to divert domestic anger by issuing threats, but Pakistan is fully prepared to respond with overwhelming force if aggression is repeated.
