DUBAI: Tilak Varma's unbeaten 69 guided India to a five-wicket win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final, securing their record-extending ninth title in Dubai on Sunday.
Chasing 147, India slipped to 20-3 but Varma held firm. He shared a crucial 60-run stand with Shivam Dube (33) to steady the chase. With 10 runs needed off the final over, Varma smashed a six before Rinku Singh hit the winning boundary with two balls to spare.
