Pakistan, Jan. 21 -- The International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to include a replacement team if Bangladesh skips the World Cup in India. Officials said this move ensures the tournament proceeds smoothly without delays or disruptions. The ICC gave the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) a one-day window to decide on participation.

According to sources, the ICC Board Members held a meeting today and voted on the issue. The majority supported including an alternative team if Bangladesh refuses to travel. Meanwhile, the ICC asked the BCB to immediately inform the government about the possible consequences of not sending the team.
