Pakistan, June 29 -- West Indies coach Darren Sammy has been fined by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for publicly criticizing an umpire during a press conference. The ICC found him guilty of breaching its Code of Conduct following comments made on Day 2 of the first Test against Australia.

According to the ICC, Sammy violated Article 2.7 of the Players and Support Staff Code, which relates to public criticism of match officials. As a result, he has been fined 15% of his match fee and handed one demerit point.
