Pakistan, July 5 -- Sukkur IBA University, in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the European Union, successfully concluded a conference on "Prevention of Violent Extremism through Youth and Women Empowerment and Engagement" here on Friday. The event highlighted the project's achievements, including training 6,031 youth in soft skills, entrepreneurship, and digital literacy, and empowering 150 mothers with parenting skills and financial literacy.
The conference featured success stories from youth and mothers from five districts in Sindh and Balochistan, showcasing the project's impact on promoting community resilience and preventing violent extremism.
