Pakistan, July 19 -- The Director General of PDMA has issued a serious warning about a high-level flood risk at Chashma on the Indus River. Currently, low-level floods are reported at Tarbela and Kalabagh, while Chashma faces a medium-level flood. However, the situation at Chashma could worsen with water levels rising further. Authorities are on high alert and continuously monitoring the river's flow.

In addition to the flood risk at Chashma, the DG PDMA has alerted the public about increasing water flows expected in the Ravi, Jhelum, Sutlej, and Chenab rivers starting from July 21.
