Pakistan, July 20 -- LAHORE - In a shocking display of disregard for traffic laws, two police officers in Lahore made a mockery of the ongoing crackdown against motorcyclists riding without helmets. The incident took place on Canal Road, where traffic police had set up a checkpoint.

According to reports, traffic wardens stopped the two helmetless cops and asked for identification to issue a challan. Instead of cooperating, the policemen abruptly fled the scene, abandoning their motorcycle at the checkpoint.

Sources revealed that the fleeing officers were posted at the Shadman police station. Notably, their motorcycle's rear number plate was also found broken, adding another violation to their irresponsible behavior.
