Pakistan, July 29 -- The Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a strong warning about potential urban flooding and landslides as heavy monsoon rains lash various parts of the province. Areas like Lahore, Murree, and other upper Punjab regions are especially at risk due to continuous downpours.

Over the past 24 hours, significant rainfall was recorded in several cities. Narowal received the most with 58mm, followed by Lahore with 27mm, Kasur 15mm, Murree 14mm, and smaller amounts in Sialkot, Jhelum, Mangla, and Gujrat. The fifth monsoon spell is expected to persist until July 31.
