Pakistan, July 7 -- At least eight people lost their lives due to rain-related incidents in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). A cloudburst in the Kahuta area of Rawalpindi triggered flash floods that swept into homes and shops, causing severe damage. In one tragic incident, a house roof collapsed, killing a child while rescuers pulled the parents and two other children from the debris with injuries.
