The Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Rehabilitation Department, Government of Sindh has issued weather update in connection with Pakistan Meteorological Department's prediction that Strong Monsoon currents from Arabian Sea & Bay of Bengal are likely to penetrate upper parts of the country.

In this connection, heavy rains are expected in Sindh from 27th to 29th August. It may affect daily routine, urban flooding, water logging in low lying areas and may damage weak structures like roof/ wall of Kacha houses, electric poles, bill boards, vehicles and solar panels etc. during the forecast period.
