Pakistan, Oct. 14 -- Heavy rains in Mexico have caused deadly floods and landslides, leaving nearly 130 people dead or missing. Torrential downpours struck several regions last week, turning rivers into raging floods and sweeping through homes. The government said 64 people have died and 65 remain missing. The heavy rains in Mexico came from a tropical depression that hit near the end of the rainy season. Forecasters said the storm's intensity caught them by surprise.
