The Head Muhammad Wala bridge in Muzaffargarh has been completely closed for all kinds of traffic today due to dangerously high flood levels in the River Chenab. Authorities confirmed the step was taken as a safety measure, since rising water levels posed a serious risk to both commuters and the bridge structure.
Furthermore, officials advised citizens traveling towards Multan to use the Chenab bridge as an alternative route to avoid delays and ensure smooth traffic flow.
