Pakistan, July 7 -- Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has been ruled out of the remainder of the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025 season after suffering a Grade 1 hamstring strain. The injury occurred during San Francisco Unicorns' recent win over the Texas Super Kings, forcing Rauf to leave the field midway. His franchise confirmed the news through social media and wished him a speedy recovery.

Rauf had been in excellent form before the injury, topping the MLC wicket-takers' chart with 17 wickets in just 8 matches. He maintained an economy rate of 9.08 and played a key role in the Unicorns' strong campaign. New Zealand pacer Ben Lister has now been announced as his replacement for the rest of the tournament.
