Pakistan, June 11 -- Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has unveiled the federal budget for fiscal year 2025-26, laying stress on the government's focus on economic stability and growth.

In his budget speech in the National Assembly marred by the opposition's pandemonium on Tuesday, Aurangzeb outlined key economic achievements, saying that remittances have reached $31.2billion, with projections to rise to $37-38billion by the end of the current financial year.

The country's economic growth stands at 2.7%, and inflation has dropped to 4.7%, he claimed.
