Pakistan, July 2 -- ISLAMABAD - The government has officially launched the mandatory registration process for Hajj 2026, setting July 9 as the final deadline for all intending pilgrims from Pakistan.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, applicants can register either through the dedicated online portal or by visiting any of the 15 designated banks nationwide. This step marks the beginning of early preparations in line with Saudi directives.

The ministry clarified that registration is compulsory for both the government and private Hajj schemes. Overseas Pakistanis holding valid passports are also encouraged to register promptly through the online platform.
