ISLAMABAD: The government has introduced a relief policy for registered pilgrims who, due to unavoidable circumstances, cannot perform Hajj.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, if a pilgrim is severely ill or has passed away, a relative will be allowed to perform Hajj in their place. The policy also permits registered individuals facing necessity-based constraints to either nominate another person or apply for a refund.
The ministry stressed that a valid reason must be presented for requesting a refund or sending an alternate. Documentary proof of illness or death of the registered pilgrim is mandatory. Applicants are required to submit the reason on stamped paper, along ...
