Pakistan, July 16 -- The federal cabinet, in a key decision during its recent meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, approved a 15% increase in pensions for Employees' Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) pensioners. This increase will be implemented starting January 1, 2025, aiming to provide financial relief to retired workers relying on these pensions.
