Gold prices in Pakistan jumped significantly on Saturday, mirroring a rise in the international market. The price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,900, reaching Rs397,700, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Meanwhile, 10-gram gold bars were sold at Rs340,963, marking a gain of Rs1,629 during the day.
This increase follows a slight dip on Friday when the gold price per tola fell by Rs1,000 to Rs395,800. The international gold rate also strengthened, climbing by $19 to $3,759 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20, as reported by APGJSA.
