Pakistan, Aug. 7 -- Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Wednesday, increasing by Rs2,900 per tola. With this rise, the price of one tola of 24-karat gold has now reached a record Rs362,200. The increase has caused concern among buyers, especially those planning for weddings or large purchases.

Along with the per tola price, the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also jumped significantly. It rose by Rs2,487, bringing the new price to Rs310,528. This sharp rise in rates is making gold less affordable for the average customer and small investors across the country.
