Pakistan, Oct. 23 -- Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Thursday, following a similar trend in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs3,500, settling at Rs433,862. Meanwhile, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs3,001, reaching Rs371,966.

The latest decline comes a day after a significant fall of Rs7,538 per tola, which brought the price down to Rs437,362 on Wednesday. Market experts attributed the continued dip to fluctuations in global gold prices and currency exchange pressures. The local market remains closely linked to international trends, which often influence daily rate changes in Pakistan.
