Pakistan, July 9 -- Gold prices in Pakistan dropped significantly on Wednesday, following a similar trend in the international market. The price per tola of gold fell by Rs3,000, bringing it down to Rs351,500, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Alongside this, the price for 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs2,572, settling at Rs301,354. This comes just a day after a Rs1,500 increase had pushed the rate to Rs354,500 per tola.

Internationally, the gold rate dropped by $33 on Wednesday, reaching $3,292 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as shared by APGJSA. The decline in global prices directly impacted the local market.
