Pakistan, July 10 -- The price of gold in Pakistan jumped by Rs3,200 per tola on Thursday, following a rise in international markets. With this increase, the local price per tola reached Rs354,700, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10 grams of gold also went up by Rs2,744, reaching Rs304,098. This recovery comes a day after gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs3,000 per tola. On Wednesday, the rate had dropped to Rs351,500.
In the global market, the gold price rose to $3,324 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium. The international price increased by $32, which directly influenced the domestic hike.
