Pakistan, Oct. 5 -- KARACHI - Gold prices in Karachi surged sharply once again, as the rate of one tola climbed by Rs 2,100 on Saturday, pushing the price to Rs 409,878, market dealers confirmed.
In addition, the cost of 10 grams of gold also witnessed an increase of Rs 1,801, raising its value to Rs 351,404. Traders attributed the hike to changes in international bullion markets, which directly influence local pricing.
Meanwhile, global gold prices showed a significant rise of $21, reaching $3,886 per ounce. This upward shift comes after a period of stability in the international bullion market during the previous day.
