Pakistan, July 28 -- Gold prices in Pakistan saw a minor drop on Monday. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the per tola rate fell by Rs100 to Rs356,300. The 10-gram gold price also declined by Rs85 to Rs305,470.
This decline follows a slight drop in global gold rates. The international price fell by $1, now standing at $3,336 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Falling global demand continues to affect local prices.
Gold had also dropped on Saturday, losing Rs300 in a single day. It previously stood at Rs356,400 per tola. Traders are seeing gradual but steady declines.
